Standard aluminum roof flashing
Description
Roof flashings are made of different materials such as steel, aluminum, or copper, but, they all serve to seal the junction between two roof surfaces.
Its role is to guarantee the watertightness between the roof and the previously mentioned elements. More precisely, it allows the water to drip towards the gutters and not to stagnate on the surface of the roof, thus avoiding any infiltration inside it.
Secondly, the watertightness provided by the flashing also prevents heat loss and therefore reduces your heating bill.
